Seasonal aphrodisiacs as enumerated in ayurveda

Acharya charaka explains about aphrodisiac items according to seasons. These things reduce stress and energize mind to involve in sexual activities. Such vajikara activities are enumerated in third chapter of vajikarana therapy. Here are list of seasonal mind relaxing aphrodisiac activities.

Stress is the main cause of erectile dysfunction. Surrounding environment play a great role in reliving stress .Conducive atmosphere increases libido and helps to keep erectile dysfunction at bay. Hence ayurveda acharyas explain seasonal lifestyles to reduce stress and increase sexual energy and stamina.

Summer season:

The house should be surrounded with cool water ponds. These ponds should be habitat to flowering water lilies and lotus plants.
Fragrant flowering plants should surround the house.
Rooms should be cool and fragrant.
Men and women should wear ornaments made of pearls.   
Cool and easily digestible diet should be consumed.

Rainy season:

•View of black clouds should be enjoyed.
•Mountain peaks covered with clouds is always a welcoming view.
•Rivers flowing with foamy waves add beauty to surrounding environment.
•Loving partner who is in pleasant mood and dressed well adds glitter to surrounding aphrodisiac environment.

Winter season:

•Nights are very long and help to indulge in healthy sexual activities.
•The house should be kept warm with heated coal and fire.
•Beds should be covered with warm bed spreads and be covers.
•Warm milk added with saffron should be consumed to increase sexual energy
